Tips to Prevent Sexting
These tips were written by Larry Magid of ConnectSafely.org in April 2009, after several reported cases of teens being prosecuted for taking, distributing and possessing pictures of themselves or friends. Not only are kids partipating in activities that are inappropriate and risky, they can be charged with criminal acts and felony related to pornography. Except in the rare cases involving malice or criminal intent, Larry advises that law enforcement should play an educational role, along with parents, community leaders, school officials and other caring adults.
