Description: In this workshop, participants will be introduced to Macromedia's web development software, Dreamweaver MX 2004. This workshop will cover the basic principles of web design and an overview of the Dreamweaver environment including windows, menus, toolbars, and panels. Participants will learn about file management for the web and create a local site containing a basic web page including tables, text, and color. Participants will be expected to create a basic web page with content pertaining to their classroom. Final web pages will be emailed to the instructor for verification of staff development hours. This class is designed for teachers who have not used Dreamweaver before and is the first of a two part series. See Dreamweaver Part 2.
