We use math everyday! Here is a website that focuses on the everyday use of mathematics. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Education, the site provides interesting math challenges that middle-school students can do at home with their families. They can also be used at school. The site is available in English and Spanish. It is one of the CTAP Middle School Math Project team's favorites.
From several locations at the MSM site, you can go to websites that have math graphic organizers for students and teachers. Southwest Georgia RESA has a series of good math organizers. Since a majority of graphic organizers at the Southwest Gorgia RESA website were created in Word, teachers and students have the option of changing the organizers to meet their needs. After visiting this website, check out the rest of the Graphic Organizer resources at the MSM site.
